This hotel is a hidden gem! the location is unbeatable. It is situated just below the Giant ski lift, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and snowboarding. You can literally ski in and ski out, which saves so much time and effort. Secondly, the staff here are amazing. They are so friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Finally, the rooms have a great view over the mountain. Waking up to see the slopes and the beautiful scenery is such a treat. Plus, having a private toilet in the room is a nice touch.

Great ski in ski out location in a beautiful mountain setting. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering pick up and drop off services at the nearby bus terminal. The homemade pastries and warm Onsen were a highlight.
Lack of dining options nearby made it difficult for those looking for variety in meals. Sleeping on the floor was uncomfortable for some guests, and the rental gear could use an upgrade.

Located near the famous snow monkey park and right on the slopes of Shiga Kogen, this hotel offers a convenient location for both skiing and sightseeing. the rooms with tatami mats and futons are warm and comfortable while the dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Guests can also enjoy private onsen baths and great ski hire on-site.
The hotel might be a bit run down and isolated, and there are no shuttle services to other parts of Shiga Kogen.
